STEP 1 The Canvas
The first step is to decide what is going to be used as your walking canvas.
Is it Shirts or Hoodies?
What type of materials do you want to use; cotton (sweatshirts), polyester (sport-tek) or a blend of the two?
What color of material do you want to use? (note: this can affect print colors)

STEP 2 Labor Process
The second step is figuring out how a project will be completed. Note, we have a few options when it comes to putting designs onto your canvas, each with factors that may element potential options.

SCREEN PRINTING
The most popular option, Screen Printing or Silk Screening is perfect for larger quantity orders with different price breaks for different quantities, but is limited to a set of selected colors and order minimums (see chart below).
HEAT PRESSING/TRANSFER
The best option for smaller orders with simple designs as the design is cut out of iron on vinyl. The best option for quick turnaround, low quantity shirt orders.

SUBLIMATION
Good option for picture designs to be used on t-shirts. The only limitation is that shirts have to be lighter for sublimation application.
STEP 3 The Design
Unless you already have the design in mind, typically the last step is to figure out what you are going to put on your canvas. To get started there are a few things in mind!
The shirt color is not only the canvas, but can be used as a color in the design.
Be sure to use complementary colors; not only print colors, but to the shirt as well.
